Can individual students attend Camp 2M2L?
Camp 2M2L is designed for groups, not individuals, in order to make a greater impact on a school or community. Groups should be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12. Groups must have an adult sponsor attend with them. If your group is made up of all male campers, then your sponsor must also be male. Likewise, if your group is all female campers, your sponsor must also be female. If you have a mixed group of male and female campers, you must have at least 1 male AND 1 female sponsor.

If I have attended Camp U21 or Camp 2M2L in previous years, can I attend again?
Groups who have attended Camp U21 in years 2003-2006 or Camp 2M2L in 2007 and want to attend Camp 2M2L in 2008 must show that they have attempted and/or completed an action plan from a previous year. You may do this by submitting a written statement discussing the plan, what was done, and what changes your school or community has seen as a result. If your action plan was attempted, but incomplete, please discuss why. For example, if your plan included state legislation, it is understandable that the plan remain incomplete due to the bill or law not passing.

What do I need to do to prepare for Camp 2M2L?

1. Request a Camp 2M2L registration packet.
2. Complete the Camp registration packet and send it in.
3. Complete the Environmental Scan (PDF 214K) in your community. Please note that your group cannot complete the registration process without turning in the completed Environmental Scan-this is a requirement to attend camp this year.
4. Upon completing all documents necessary to attend camp, you will receive confirmation that your group has been accepted provided there is space for your group to attend.
5. Pack for Camp.
6. Arrive at Camp 2M2L on August 4, 2008.

I'm an alum and I loved camp. Now can I be an intern?
Camp 2M2L is looking for alumni campers who might potentially be youth facilitators and interns. If you are interested in helping with this high-energy, interactive, five-day camp, fill out the Camp 2M2L Intern Application (PDF 95K) and fax or mail it by February 29.
