About 2M2L

2M2L is a statewide initiative focused on reducing and preventing underage drinking through law enforcement efforts, community and social norms change, and youth leadership.

Alcohol kills more young people than all other drugs...COMBINED. Underage
drinking costs Oklahomans an estimated $778 million each year. In
addition, more than 50% of alcoholics in the U.S. are under the age of 25.

One of the most effective ways to tackle an issue as big as underage
drinking is to change what's acceptable in the society in which we live.
This is called social norms. We do this by teaming up with our law
enforcement, community members, and youth across the state to change the
world around us by using environmental strategies. These strategies
include making policy changes, using the media to help advocate for change,
and training law enforcement in alcohol reduction techniques. These
efforts wouldn't be possible without the hard work and dedication of those
across the state who care so deeply about these issues.

Please join the 2M2L initiative as we work to change the world around us
and make it a better place for our families and generations to come.
